Glogster has a lot of potential when it comes to supplementing the ELA curriculum with a new and engaging technology. The greatest benefit of Glogster is its ability to allow students to easily create informational poster boards on a subject. In an ELA classroom I envision students using glogster in place of traditional book reports. For example, every student would be reading a different book and would have to create a glogster about that book to inform the teacher and class about the book. It would also have the added bonus of giving students public speaking practice. Glogster can also be used to add an ELA element to other subjects. Some examples would be having students create glogsters about different countries in a Social Studies class or having students create glogsters about animals in a science class. Overall, glogster gives teachers a fresh way to present ELA projects.
